Program Overview
Students interested in pursuing the New Jersey City University (NJCU)’s BS in Business Administration may first complete the following Pre-Major Courses of 20 credits in China by enrolling in the SUNY NP – IAA University Prep program at a participating college in China.
Pre-major Courses:
Introduction to Business 3 credits
Principles of Economics: Macro 3 credits
Principles of Economics: Micro 3 credits
Pre-calculus for Business 3 credits
Principles of Accounting I 3 credits
Principles of Accounting II 3 credits
Students completing the BS in Business Administration degree at NJCU have the option to concentrate their study in several specializations including: accounting, finance, international business, management, and retail management. Within each specialization there are a number of elective options along with required, upper division courses. Students will work with a mentor to guide their degree progress and offer counsel toward career goals. The various business specializations are also designed to provide a strong foundation for those students who plan to attend graduate school.
